Basketball Hit is a free online arcade game that takes basketball off the court. Instead of playing a match, you launch a ball as far and as high as you can, sometimes all the way into space. Calculate each throw, earn coins, and upgrade to send it even farther.
The player uses the left mouse button to click, so anyone can start playing right away. Click with your mouse, or tap on a touchscreen, to stop the power meter and release the ball. The main goal is distance, but dropping the ball through a hoop along the way earns you a bonus, then accumulate it to upgrade power levels.
Before every throw, a color meter cycles through yellow, orange, and green. Click while it shows green to send the ball off at full power and a good angle. If you click too early or too late, you get a weak toss that barely goes anywhere, which wastes a whole attempt.
Each throw pays out coins based on how far the ball travels, and sinking a hoop adds extra. Spend your coins on upgrades for strength, speed, and bounce, then launch again. The bounce upgrade lets the ball hop stronger and farther after it lands, adding extra distance to every attempt. The first few throws are short, but every upgrade makes the next run noticeably longer, which is what keeps the loop so addictive.
Basketball Hit mixes a simple timing skill with satisfying progression:
